Role Description

The MRO Structures Lead provides technical leadership and daily direction for the Structures team supporting VIP aircraft completion, modification, and maintenance projects. Under minimal supervision, this role plans, coordinates, and executes structural work activities while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering data, aircraft maintenance manuals, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.

 The MRO Structures Lead serves as a technical resource for Structures Technicians, providing hands-on guidance, troubleshooting support, and mentorship while maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality, and productivity. This position works closely with Engineering, Quality, Project Management, and Production Leadership to resolve technical issues, support schedule commitments, and deliver aircraft to customer expectations.

Essential Job Functions

·         Lead and coordinate daily activities of the Structures team to support aircraft completion, modification, and maintenance schedules.

·         Plan, prioritize, and assign work assignments based on production requirements, technician skill levels, project timelines, and available resources.

·         Review completed work documentation, including electronic sign-offs, maintenance records, and production paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

·         Support first-time quality initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce rework, improve processes, and increase production efficiency.

·         Monitor team performance, workmanship, and adherence to established aircraft completion standards.

·         Assist with implementation and execution of engineering changes, revisions, and aircraft modification requirements.

·         Promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and aircraft handling requirements.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

·         High School Diploma or GED required.

·         Minimum of 6 years of aircraft structures experience, preferably within a corporate aviation completion, MRO, modification, or heavy maintenance environment.

·         Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring aircraft structures technicians.

·         Experience performing aircraft structural installation, repair, modification, and fabrication.

·         Experience interpreting aircraft drawings, blueprints, engineering documentation, and technical instructions.

Licenses & Certifications

·         FAA Airframe (A) Certificate required.

Role Description

The Flooring Installation Technician is responsible for the preparation, fitting, and installation of carpet, flooring, tile and related interior materials within VIP aircraft. Working under the direction of an experienced Installer or Lead and part of the overall completions team, this position ensures flooring and carpet installations meet approved design specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations. Essential Job Functions

Role Description

The AutoCAD Drafter – Interiors, works under general direction to develop, revise, and maintain technical drawings in support of VIP aircraft completion, modification, and refurbishment projects. This position is responsible for producing accurate, high-quality 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other applicable drafting software while adhering to established engineering requirements, customer specifications, drawing standards, and document control procedures.

Essential Job Functions

·         Create new drawings and revise existing drawings in support of VIP aircraft completion, modification, and refurbishment projects.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

·         High school diploma or GED required.

·         Technical training, coursework, or an associate degree in drafting, design technology, engineering technology, or a related field preferred.

·         Minimum of five years of experience in drafting or design, preferably within aviation, aerospace, aircraft interiors, or VIP aircraft completion.

·         Demonstrated experience creating and revising technical drawings using AutoCAD.

·         Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, design requirements, and other technical documentation.

·         Fabricate and upholster aircraft interior components including seats, cushions, trim panels, and soft goods in accordance with engineering drawings and design specifications.

·        Support the maintenance and revision of controlled quality and repair station documentation, including the Repair Station Manual (RSM), Quality Control Manual (QCM), procedures, forms, and related documentation.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

JOB DESCRIPTION  

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the return to service of all assigned articles to include completion of all work orders and all other required documentation from pre-planning to delivery of the aircraft.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

A.      AIRCRAFT INSPECTOR

1.         Conduct all inspections of airframes, engines, components and modifications utilizing the relevant tools and/or equipment, as applicable, to ensure conformity with specifications and standards as defined in the repair station manuals.

2.        Accomplish all assigned inspection tasks, including maintenance, avionics, and fabrication inspections, and associated documentation review, while maintaining liaison with maintenance and/or production personnel in order to expedite the maintenance and/or modification operation.

3.        Use precise measuring and test equipment.

4.       Audit task cards, non-routines and associated work order package documentation prior to release of aircraft.

5.        Ensure log book/research is completed.  Review all entries and other required documentation which accurately records the maintenance and/or modification performed.

6.       Complete AD research as necessary.

7.       Receive paperwork from Maintenance Lead to ensure documentation is completed and ready in conjunction with delivery of the aircraft.

8.       Review completed documentation of work performed by others, conducts inspections and performs functional tests as needed.  Sign off as “Inspected By”.

9.       Compute weight and balance data and revise equipment lists.

The SolidWorks Design Engineer is responsible for independently developing, analyzing, and supporting engineering designs for VIP aircraft interior completion, refurbishment, modification, and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) projects. This position applies advanced engineering principles to create certifiable aircraft interior, structural, mechanical, and systems modifications while ensuring compliance with FAA, EASA, customer, and company requirements.

Essential Job Functions

·         Independently develop engineering designs and modifications in support of VIP aircraft interior completions, refurbishments, maintenance modifications, and STC projects.

·         Create, review, and approve detailed 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models utilizing approved engineering software and company drafting standards.

Role Description

The Mechanical Systems Design Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and integration of aircraft mechanical systems supporting VIP aircraft interior completion and avionics modification programs. This role collaborates with structural engineering, avionics engineering, certification, and production teams to develop installation designs and engineering instructions required for aircraft modifications. This position requires strong technical problem-solving capabilities, knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, and the ability to support engineering activities throughout the design, certification, and production phases of aircraft completion projects.

Essential Job Functions

·         Develop mechanical system designs and perform engineering analysis in support of VIP aircraft interior completion and avionics modification programs.

·         Create and maintain engineering drawings, design documentation, and system reports required to support STC development and aircraft modification programs.

·         Develop mechanical system modification concepts and prepare installation work instructions, engineering orders (EOs), and supporting procedures.

·         Support the design and integration of aircraft utility systems including air conditioning, ventilation, equipment cooling, fire and smoke detection, potable water, gray water, vacuum waste systems, oxygen, and bleed air systems.

·         Review and analyze Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and other technical data, identifying potential impacts to aircraft modification programs.

·         Identify discrepancies or conflicts within engineering drawings and technical documentation and develop corrective actions.

·         Apply established engineering principles, company procedures, and regulatory guidance to resolve routine and moderately complex technical issues.

·         Support the preparation of engineering substantiation documentation required for certification activities.

·         Work closely with production and installation teams to support engineering questions during aircraft modification and completion activities.

·         Maintain awareness of FAA regulations and certification requirements, ensuring engineering work complies with applicable FARs, ADs, and manufacturer requirements.

·         Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, documentation standards, and design practices.

·         Continue professional development in aircraft mechanical systems engineering and certification practices.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

·         Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft mechanical systems design, aerospace engineering, or aircraft modification engineering.

·         Experience supporting aircraft modification, STC development, or aircraft completion programs preferred.

·         Familiarity with FAA certification processes and aircraft regulatory compliance requirements.

·         Experience reviewing aircraft technical documentation including maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.

Required Skills and Abilities

·         Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools; SolidWorks preferred.

·         Working knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems including environmental control, plumbing, oxygen, and utility systems.

Role Description

The Methods Engineer is responsible for developing, documenting, and continuously improving the manufacturing methods, work instructions, tooling strategies, and production processes used to support VIP aircraft completions, modifications, and maintenance activities. This role serves as the bridge between Engineering and Production by translating engineering designs into efficient, standardized, and repeatable manufacturing processes that support safety, quality, schedule performance, and cost objectives.

Working closely with Engineering, Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Continuous Improvement, the Methods Engineer develops manufacturing routings, production documentation, labor standards, and process improvements that optimize workflow while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and customer requirements.

Essential Job Functions

·         Develop, document, and maintain manufacturing methods, work instructions, routings, and process documentation supporting aircraft completions and modification programs.

·         Translate engineering drawings, specifications, and design changes into efficient manufacturing processes for production teams.

·         Develop manufacturing sequences that improve productivity while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

·         Create and maintain Bills of Process (BOP), manufacturing routings, labor standards, and work instructions.

·         Evaluate manufacturing methods and identify opportunities to reduce production lead time, labor hours, waste, and rework.

·         Collaborate with Engineering to ensure new product designs are manufacturable, serviceable, and support efficient aircraft installation.

·         Partner with Planning and Production to improve workflow, material flow, and production sequencing.

·         Develop tooling concepts, fixtures, templates, and manufacturing aids that improve quality, repeatability, and technician efficiency.

·         Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by developing production methods prior to aircraft arrival.

·         Analyze production issues and develop permanent corrective actions that improve manufacturing consistency.

·         Participate in root cause investigations involving quality escapes, production delays, or manufacturing discrepancies.

·         Support Continuous Improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles, standard work, visual management, and process optimization techniques.

·         Develop and maintain standard labor estimates and support estimating activities for new customer proposals when required.

·         Review engineering changes and determine production impact, labor requirements, tooling needs, and implementation strategy.

·         Ensure manufacturing documentation complies with FAA regulations, Repair Station Quality Manual (RSQM), Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs), and company quality standards.

·         Provide technical support to Production Supervisors, Leads, and technicians during aircraft completion activities.

·         Support implementation of ERP, MES, and digital manufacturing initiatives.

·         Prepare reports, process documentation, manufacturing standards, and presentations for operational leadership.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

The Structures Design Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, documentation, certification, and installation of structural modifications for transport category aircraft undergoing VIP interior completion and modification programs. This role develops engineering solutions that support the integration of aircraft interiors, monuments, systems, and structural installations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and engineering best practices. The position provides direct support to aircraft production activities and assists in resolving technical issues throughout the completion process.

Essential Job Functions

·         Develop structural design solutions for VIP aircraft interior completion and modification projects in accordance with aircraft manufacturer requirements and engineering best practices.

·         Create and revise 2D and 3D engineering drawings, installation packages, and technical documentation supporting aircraft structural modifications.

·         Design and document aircraft primary and secondary structural modifications required for the installation of cabin monuments, furnishings, mechanical systems, and aircraft equipment.

·         Interface with Structural, Mechanical Systems, Electrical, Avionics, Interior Design, and Certification Engineering teams to ensure certifiable and manufacturable designs.

·         Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport and travel internationally as required.

·         Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and meet company insurance requirements.
