Role Description

The Director of Procurement is responsible for leading and developing the procurement organization while driving strategic sourcing initiatives that support operational excellence, cost optimization, and continuity of supply across the business. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional departments to align procurement strategies with organizational objectives supporting aircraft completion, maintenance, engineering, and fabrication operations and supplier relationships, contract negotiations, purchasing strategy, and global sourcing activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services. This role is also responsible for maximizing rebate opportunities, supplier incentive programs, and overall purchasing efficiencies to improve gross profit performance and operational execution.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

·         Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.

·         Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience managing procurement or supply chain teams.

·         Prior experience in aviation, aerospace, MRO, manufacturing, construction, or other highly regulated industrial environments strongly preferred.

·         Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and cost reduction initiatives.

The Liaison Engineer serves as the primary engineering interface between Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management during aircraft completion and modification activities. Role Description

The Director of Quality & Safety Assurance is responsible for administering and overseeing all quality assurance, quality control and environmental health and safety activities related to aircraft completions, maintenance, and modification operations in accordance with 14 CFR Part 145 repair station requirements and the AS9100 Quality Management System applicable to fabrication and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) projects.

This role serves as the primary liaison with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and maintains final authority on the methods and procedures used by the repair station to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, manufacturer specifications, and approved technical data. The position ensures that all facility operations and personnel comply with corporate policies as well as federal, state, and industry regulatory requirements.

Additionally, this role is responsible for developing and managing safety initiatives and programs designed to prevent workplace injuries, strengthen the organization’s safety culture, and improve operational processes to create a safe and compliant working environment.

Essential Job Functions

·         Ensure the accuracy and integrity of records in accordance with FAR 145.219 through internal system audits and compliance reviews.

·         Coordinate with the FAA Certificate Holding District Office (CHDO) and other FAA offices regarding Quality Assurance matters and regulatory compliance.

·         Identify operational hazards and develop risk mitigation strategies based on audit results, incident reports, and safety analyses.

·         Revise and maintain repair station documentation including the Repair Station Manual (RSM), Quality Control Manual (QCM), Capabilities List, and Personnel Roster as required.

·         Ensure that preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections are properly conducted and documented in accordance with the RSM and QCM.

·         Compile, analyze, and interpret accidents, incidents, and exposure data to develop corrective actions that eliminate or reduce operational risks.

·         Maintain a technical publications library relevant to repair station operations and ensure accessibility of current technical information to maintenance personnel.

·         Maintain company maintenance policies, inspection procedures, and overhaul guidance required by FAA regulations to support maintenance and repair operations.

·         Establish long-term safety performance targets, accident prevention strategies, and cost-control initiatives related to safety management.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

·         Bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         MBA or master’s degree in quality management is preferred.

Role Description

The Structures Design Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, documentation, certification, and installation of structural modifications for transport category aircraft undergoing VIP interior completion and modification programs. This role develops engineering solutions that support the integration of aircraft interiors, monuments, systems, and structural installations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and engineering best practices. The position provides direct support to aircraft production activities and assists in resolving technical issues throughout the completion process.

Essential Job Functions

• Develop structural design solutions for VIP aircraft interior completion and modification projects in accordance with aircraft manufacturer requirements and engineering best practices.

• Create and revise 2D and 3D engineering drawings, installation packages, and technical documentation supporting aircraft structural modifications.

• Design and document aircraft primary and secondary structural modifications required for the installation of cabin monuments, furnishings, mechanical systems, and aircraft equipment.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under minimal supervision, the Structures Technician Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading the day-to-day activities of the structures team in support of VIP aircraft completion and maintenance projects. The role provides technical direction, supports removal, repair, modification, and installation activities, and ensures all work is performed in accordance with engineering data, maintenance manuals, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Plan, schedule, and assign daily work activities for structures technicians to ensure efficient resource utilization and alignment with production schedules.

• Provide guidance, on-the-job training (OJT), and instruction related to correctly measuring, laying out, sizing, and drilling holes per drawing or other technical data.

• Coordinate with engineering both within and outside the company to address issues and correct or clarify technical data.

• Perform precision measurements and map out damage or defects to determine airworthiness and / or submit technical requests.

• Ensure all work performed by the team complies with engineering specifications, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Verify work performed by all technicians is documented correctly on a daily basis, and as work is completed.

• Lead by example by demonstrating proper techniques, workmanship standards, and adherence to quality expectations.

• Audit and process completed paperwork, including electronic sign-offs as required, and assist with corrections.

• Ensure team compliance with engineering changes, revisions, and modification requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC

1.      High School diploma or GED. Relevant trade school attendance is a plus.

2.      6 years of structures install experience, preferably in the corporate aviation completion environment.

3.      Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

4.      Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.

5.      FAA issued Airframe License 

Plans, fabricates, installs, assembles, repairs, operates, tests and troubleshoots systems on VIP aircraft in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.

SHEET METAL FABRICATION TECH III 

Role Description

Under minimal supervision, the Upholstery Technician III performs advanced upholstery fabrication and installation for VIP aircraft completion projects. This role is responsible for sewing, foam fabrication, pattern alignment, and upholstery of aircraft seats, trim components, panels, and carpeting while ensuring all work meets engineering specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The Technician III serves as a senior technical resource within the upholstery shop, supporting production efficiency, troubleshooting complex upholstery challenges, and assisting in the development of junior technicians.

Essential Job Functions

·         Prepare upholstered surfaces for foam and covering using various hand tools in accordance with approved company procedures. Clean adhesive residue from panels and remove materials from parts as required.

·         Perform advanced sewing operations and modifications to seat covers, curtains, cushions, and other upholstery components using industrial sewing machines and specialized upholstery tools.

·         Fabricate and upholster aircraft interior components including seats, cushions, trim panels, and soft goods in accordance with engineering drawings and design specifications.

·         Interpret complex material specifications and engineering drawings to ensure upholstered components meet design requirements, quality standards, and customer expectations.

·         Identify material requirements and request supplies in a timely manner to maintain continuous production workflow.

·         Ensure all regulatory documentation and installation records are properly completed in accordance with the Comlux Repair Station Quality Manual (RSQM) and other applicable quality standards.

·         Follow all departmental safety guidelines and ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment.

·         Maintain a strong working knowledge of company installation procedures, process specifications, and Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs).

·         Provide guidance and technical support to Upholstery Technician Trainees, Technician I, and Technician II team members as needed.

·         Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting efficient shop operations.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

·         High School Diploma or GED required. Relevant trade school or vocational training preferred.

·         Advanced knowledge of aircraft upholstery fabrication processes within a corporate aviation or aircraft completions environment.

·         6+ years of upholstery, sewing, or aircraft interior fabrication experience preferred.

·         Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
